The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship based in Hutchinson, KS, is dedicated to nurturing a new generation of advocates and educators committed to creating a just food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic equity. Through hands-on training and mentorship, our Fellows engage in practical, organic food system education, working on projects that include growing diversified crops on market-style farms, establishing school and community gardens, and promoting food and ecological literacy in educational settings. By facilitating access to healthy foods, supporting local farmers markets, and partnering with regional non-profits, our Fellowship empowers individuals to make a meaningful impact in their communities. With no tuition fees, we emphasize accessibility to our program, which includes a transformative six-month residential experience followed by a Community Action Year. Apply by March to join us in this vital journey from May to October and help shape a better food system for all.
