Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA)

The Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) program in Hugoton, KS, offers dedicated support for patients aged 13 and older undergoing treatment for cancer or blood disorders. We focus on the unique needs of adolescents and young adults, providing an array of clinical services delivered by a compassionate team that includes social workers, child life specialists, nutritionists, physicians, and nurse practitioners. Our program emphasizes holistic care through tailored nutrition planning, fertility counseling, and emotional support to ensure that every patient and their families feel understood and valued throughout their treatment journey. As patients transition into adult care after age 21, we maintain close collaboration with adult Hematology/Oncology providers to ensure seamless support and continued care.
