Kansas SNAP-Ed is dedicated to empowering low-income residents of Hugoton, KS, by making healthy choices accessible and achievable through comprehensive nutrition and physical activity education. Our mission is to help those receiving SNAP benefits transform their eating habits and lifestyles, enabling them to improve their nutrition, increase fruit and vegetable consumption, and enhance physical activity. By partnering with local and statewide organizations, we work to create sustainable policies and environments that promote overall well-being. Through engaging SNAP-Ed classes, participants learn practical strategies to maximize their food dollars while embracing healthier living. Together, we are fostering a healthier community, one choice at a time.
