Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA)

Located in Hesston, KS, the Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) program is dedicated to providing compassionate and specialized support for patients aged 13 and older who are undergoing treatment for cancer or blood disorders. Our multidisciplinary team comprises physicians, nurses, social workers, nutritionists, and child life specialists, all committed to addressing the unique needs of AYA patients and their families. We offer a range of tailored services including nutrition planning, fertility counseling, and emotional support, ensuring patients are cared for at every step of their treatment journey. As they transition to adult care after 21, we collaborate with adult Hematology/Oncology providers to maintain continuity of care. At AYA, patient and family feedback is invaluable as we continually strive to enhance the quality of care we deliver, affirming our commitment to nurturing the health and well-being of young patients facing cancer and blood disorders.
