Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

At the Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Hesston, KS, we are dedicated to transforming the food landscape through education and advocacy for a sustainable and equitable food system. Our program empowers passionate individuals to become knowledgeable leaders who champion both social and environmental justice in food production. Participants engage in hands-on training, learning about organic farming practices and community-focused initiatives, from growing diverse crops and teaching ecological literacy to supporting farmers markets and enhancing food access. Our fellowship is designed to be accessible, with no tuition fees, fostering inclusivity among aspiring advocates and educators. Through a six-month immersive experience followed by a Community Action Year, our Fellows collaborate with regional non-profit organizations to enact meaningful change. Applications are accepted until March, with the program running from May to October, providing a comprehensive path for those ready to make a significant impact on their communities through food systems.
