Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA)

Located in Haysville, KS, the Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) program is dedicated to providing comprehensive support and services for young patients aged 13 and older who are undergoing treatment for cancer and blood disorders. Our multidisciplinary team—including physicians, nurses, nutritionists, social workers, and child life specialists—works collaboratively to address the unique challenges faced by adolescents and young adults. We are committed to delivering tailored clinical services that encompass nutrition planning, fertility counseling, and vital psychosocial support, ensuring that both patients and their families are integral members of our care approach. As our patients transition to adult care after age 21, we maintain strong connections with adult Hematology/Oncology providers to promote a seamless healthcare experience. At AYA, we prioritize feedback from our patients and their families, continuously striving to enhance the quality of care we provide in this critical phase of life.
