Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA)

The Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) program in Great Bend, KS, is dedicated to providing comprehensive support for patients aged 13 and older undergoing treatment for cancer and blood disorders. Our multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, social workers, nutritionists, and child life specialists, focuses on addressing the unique needs of adolescents and young adults during their treatment journey. We not only offer clinical services but also strive to ensure emotional and psychological well-being through individualized care, nutrition planning, and fertility counseling. As patients transition into adult care, we work closely with adult Hematology/Oncology providers to maintain continuity of support, always prioritizing feedback from our patients and their families to enhance the quality of care we deliver.
