Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA)

In Garden City, KS, the Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) program is dedicated to providing compassionate and comprehensive support for patients aged 13 and older undergoing treatment for cancer and blood disorders. Our multidisciplinary team, which includes skilled social workers, child life specialists, nutritionists, physicians, and nursing professionals, focuses on the unique emotional and medical needs of our young patients and their families. We offer a variety of essential services such as nutrition planning, fertility counseling, and tailored support from Child Life specialists to enhance the treatment experience. As our patients transition into adult care after age 21, we ensure they receive continuous, high-quality support by collaborating closely with adult Hematology/Oncology providers. At AYA, we constantly seek feedback from the patients and families we serve, striving to enhance our care and create a nurturing environment where young patients can thrive.
