MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Garden City, KS, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion. This comprehensive program aims to screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity and connect individuals with personalized weight management services that cater to their unique needs and preferences. Participants have access to a variety of options including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which provides in-home messaging and clinician support as needed. For those who prefer a more independent approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available, empowering Veterans to manage their weight at their own pace. Additionally, for individuals who have struggled despite engaging in MOVE!, we offer access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery.
