The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Fredonia, KS is dedicated to cultivating a new generation of leaders in sustainable food practices and community health. Our program passionately trains and empowers Fellows to advocate for food systems that prioritize social equity, environmental health, and economic sustainability. By participating in a six-month immersive experience at our Allegheny Farm Campus, selected Fellows receive comprehensive organic food system education and hands-on training. They are encouraged to engage with local communities through initiatives such as growing and distributing diverse crops, maintaining school gardens, and implementing innovative educational sessions that enhance food and ecological literacy. We believe in accessibility; therefore, there is no tuition for our Fellowship. After their initial training, Fellows embark on a Community Action Year, partnering with regional non-profits to apply their knowledge and skills. Join us in transforming food systems and fostering healthy communities today.
