Based in Eureka, Kansas, the Farm & Food Systems Fellowship is dedicated to cultivating a new generation of advocates and educators committed to a just and sustainable food system. This unique program welcomes Fellows into an immersive, experiential six-month residency at the Allegheny Farm Campus, where they receive comprehensive training in organic food systems, community gardening, and ecological literacy. Our mission is to empower participants to implement impactful initiatives, such as growing diversified crops, leading educational workshops on health, and expanding access to nutritious foods through community partnerships. The Fellowship emphasizes accessibility by covering all tuition costs, allowing a diverse range of individuals to enrich their knowledge and skills in promoting food equity. Following their residency, Fellows engage in a Community Action Year, collaborating with local non-profits to apply their training in real-world settings. Applications are accepted annually, with a deadline in March for cohorts running from May to October.
