Living with Type 2 Diabetes Program

The Living with Type 2 Diabetes Program in Emporia, KS offers a supportive and educational environment for individuals recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. This free program, available in both English and Spanish, spans 12 months and is designed to empower participants through a gradual learning experience. Each participant receives six informative e-booklets tailored to their needs post-diagnosis, alongside a monthly e-newsletter filled with practical seasonal tips and local community event information. Enrollment also opens the door to our monthly 'Ask the Experts' Q&A series, where participants can connect directly with American Diabetes Association experts to ask questions, gain insights on managing diabetes and its connection to heart health, and enjoy giveaways aimed at enhancing their diabetes journey. Our mission is to provide the resources and knowledge necessary for individuals to thrive in managing their diabetes.
