Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA)

The Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) program in El Dorado, KS, is dedicated to providing comprehensive support for patients aged 13 and older who are undergoing treatment for cancer or blood disorders. Our compassionate team, which includes social workers, child life specialists, nutritionists, and healthcare providers, is focused on addressing the unique needs of AYA patients. We offer a range of services, from specialized clinical care to nutrition planning and fertility counseling, ensuring that every patient and their family is actively involved in their journey. As our patients transition into adult care after age 21, we collaborate closely with adult Hematology and Oncology providers to ensure a seamless support system. We prioritize feedback from our patients and their families, continually striving to enhance the quality of care we deliver.
