The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in El Dorado, KS, empowers dedicated individuals to become advocates for a just food system through comprehensive training and hands-on experience. Our fellowship provides an opportunity to engage deeply with organic food systems, equipping participants to lead in sustainable agricultural practices, enhance community health initiatives, and promote food equity. Throughout the program, Fellows cultivate diverse crops, implement community gardens, and organize educational sessions that focus on food and ecological literacy. Additionally, they work on vital projects including supporting farmers markets and increasing access to healthy foods. The fellowship experience includes six months of immersive training at our facility, followed by a Community Action Year, where Fellows apply their skills in collaboration with regional nonprofits. We invite passionate individuals to apply by March each year, beginning their journey in May, and joining us in our mission to transform local food systems for the benefit of all.
