The Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) program in Derby, KS, is dedicated to providing tailored support for patients aged 13 and older who are undergoing treatment for cancer or blood disorders. Our compassionate team, comprising physicians, nurses, social workers, nutritionists, and child life specialists, is committed to meeting the unique needs of each patient and their families. We offer a comprehensive range of services, including clinical care, nutrition planning, fertility counseling, and emotional support, ensuring that young patients have access to the assistance they need during their treatment journey. As our patients transition to adult care after age 21, we collaborate with adult Hematology/Oncology providers to ensure continuous, quality support. At AYA, we prioritize the voices and feedback of our patients and their families, aiming to enhance the quality of care at every step.
