Women, Infants and Children (WIC)

Located in Derby, Kansas, the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program is dedicated to supporting low-income women, infants, and children under five years old by providing essential nutrition education and supplemental food assistance. WIC is designed for families facing medical and nutritional risks, offering resources that include personalized nutrition guidance to enhance eating habits, supplemental food vouchers to purchase nutritious foods, and referrals to additional community services for holistic support. Additionally, we offer free breastfeeding support and education classes to promote healthy practices. For new clients, accessing our services is easy; simply call our WIC Call Center to schedule a phone appointment for a health exam. Please note that due to COVID-19, all WIC appointments are conducted by phone, ensuring the well-being of our clients while still delivering vital assistance.
