The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Coffeyville, KS is dedicated to cultivating the next generation of advocates and educators for a just food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic equity. Our fellowship program offers hands-on, organic food system education without tuition fees, ensuring accessibility for all passionate individuals. Over a transformative six-month period at our Allegheny Farm Campus, selected Fellows engage in experiential learning while actively participating in initiatives such as growing and distributing diverse crops, mentoring future leaders, and integrating food and ecological literacy into community activities. Through collaborations with local non-profits during the Community Action Year, our Fellows apply their training to support local food systems, including farmers markets and community gardens, ultimately working to enhance access to nutritious food for all. Applications are accepted until March each year, with experiences typically running from May to October.
