Women, Infants and Children (WIC)

In Clearwater, KS, Women, Infants and Children (WIC) is dedicated to enhancing the health and nutrition of low-income women, infants, and children under five. Our program offers essential nutrition education designed to foster better eating habits and overall well-being for families facing medical and nutritional challenges. Participants receive supplemental food checks that allow them to purchase nutritious foods vital for healthy growth and development. Additionally, we provide referrals to local community and health resources for ongoing support, as well as complimentary breastfeeding support and educational classes. While in-person visits are currently suspended due to COVID-19, new clients are encouraged to contact the WIC Call Center to schedule a phone appointment for a health exam and begin their journey towards improved nutrition and health.
