Located in Cheney, KS, the Farm & Food Systems Fellowship empowers passionate individuals to advocate for a food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic justice. Through comprehensive organic food system education, our Fellowship trains participants to become leaders who grow and distribute diverse crops, implement innovative health education, and enhance food literacy within schools. Fellows actively engage with their communities, maintaining gardens, supporting farmers markets, and developing accessible distribution channels for healthy food. Selected participants benefit from a six-month hands-on experience at Allegheny Farm, followed by a Community Action Year, where they apply their skills in partnership with regional non-profit organizations. We invite applicants to join us in making a tangible impact in local food systems, with applications due by March for opportunities typically running from May to October.
