MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program in Chanute, KS, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through a comprehensive weight management and health promotion initiative. Our mission focuses on routinely screening Veterans receiving care at VA facilities for obesity and connecting them with tailored weight management services that meet their individual needs. We offer a variety of care options, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which allows for in-home support and clinician contact. Veterans can also utilize the MOVE! Coach mobile app for self-guided weight management, and for those facing ongoing challenges with weight, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery. To participate in MOVE!, Veterans are encouraged to reach out to their local MOVE! Coordinator or VA provider for assistance in getting started on their weight management journey.
