The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Andover, KS, is dedicated to cultivating a new generation of advocates for a food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic justice. This transformative program offers aspiring farmers and food system leaders the opportunity to gain hands-on, organic food system education without the burden of tuition, ensuring accessibility for all. Throughout a six-month residential experience at our campus, selected Fellows immerse themselves in practical training that includes growing and distributing diverse crops, implementing health education initiatives, and enhancing community gardens. Additionally, Fellows learn to weave food and ecological literacy into educational activities, support local farmers markets, and enhance access to healthy foods through innovative distribution channels. Following their training, they engage in a Community Action Year, collaborating with local non-profits to apply their skills and uplift their communities. We invite passionate individuals to apply by March each year, with experiences commencing from May to October.
