Family Support

Based in Abilene, KS, Family Support of the Prader-Willi Syndrome Association (PWSA) is dedicated to providing essential resources and compassionate assistance to individuals diagnosed with Prader-Willi syndrome and their families. Recognizing the challenges that come with a new diagnosis, our Family Support team offers accurate information, mentoring for parents, nutritional education, meal planning, and behavior management support. Additionally, we guide families through the often-complex processes of applying for Medicaid, insurance benefits, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), and Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI).
