MOVE! Weight Management Program

The MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Scottsburg, IN, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through tailored weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity and provide them with a variety of personalized treatment options that respect their individual needs and preferences. Participants can engage in supportive group sessions, receive convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, or utilize TeleMOVE!, an innovative in-home messaging system that connects them with healthcare professionals as needed. For those who prefer more independence, the MOVE! Coach mobile app offers self-guided weight management. Additionally, Veterans struggling with weight-related health issues may access weight loss medications or bariatric surgery after exploring our other programs.
