The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Princeton, IN, is dedicated to cultivating a fair and sustainable food system through education and empowerment. Our program sponsors and trains passionate individuals to become advocates and educators who champion food justice in their communities. Through a comprehensive, six-month experiential residency at the Allegheny Farm, Fellows receive hands-on education in organic farming, food production, and ecological principles. They collaborate with local partners to grow diverse crops, manage community gardens, and implement innovative health education programs. Following their residency, Fellows engage in a Community Action Year, applying their skills with regional non-profits to improve access to healthy food and support local food initiatives. We proudly remove barriers to participation by offering a tuition-free program, making our Fellowship accessible to all who seek to make a difference in the food systems of their communities. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the program running from May to October.
