Cindy Quivey

Cindy Quivey is a dedicated Counselor and LMHC with extensive experience in working with survivors of PTSD and trauma. Her background includes profound engagement with individuals affected by domestic violence and sexual assault, equipping her with invaluable insights into the long-term effects such experiences can have on one's life. Currently, she specializes in assisting veterans from diverse backgrounds grappling with PTSD, guiding them towards reclaiming normalcy in their lives. With recent training in Eye Movement Desensitization Response (EMDR), Cindy has enhanced her ability to support those confronting the challenges of their trauma. She addresses a wide range of issues, including behavioral problems in children, marital concerns, job loss, and anxiety, which are exacerbated by the stresses of contemporary society and family dynamics. Cindy has also passionately worked with members of the LGBTQ community, aiding them in navigating societal pressures and anxiety. In addition to individual therapy, she facilitates group sessions for the Transgender community, creating a supportive environment for networking and exchanging vital information. Her warm and compassionate approach allows clients to feel understood and empowered on their journey towards healing.
