Women Infants and Children (WIC)

Located in Mount Vernon, IN, the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program is dedicated to fostering healthy nutrition and food habits among low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our mission is to empower families by providing essential services that include nutrition education, access to supplemental foods, breastfeeding support, and valuable referrals to healthcare services. In response to COVID-19, Indiana WIC continues to prioritize the safety of clients and staff by adapting our services. Families are encouraged to reach out to their local WIC clinics to discover how we can assist them during these challenging times. Together, we strive to ensure that every child has the nutritious start they deserve in life.
