Meet Terry Coy, an accomplished Individual, Marriage, and Family Therapist. Understanding that the journey to mental health can be overwhelming, Terry is committed to creating a welcoming environment through what he calls 'session zero.' This no-fee introductory session is designed to foster trust and comfort as clients take their first steps toward a better life. In recognizing the stigma and myths surrounding therapy, Terry emphasizes that it is ultimately about starting a compassionate conversation with someone trained to support individuals in overcoming anxiety and depression. With a Bachelor’s degree in sociology and a Master’s degree, along with over 13 years of therapeutic experience and 17 years of marriage, Terry brings a depth of knowledge to his practice. He is dedicated to serving a broad range of age groups, including children, teens, and adults, addressing issues such as trauma, relationship difficulties, and emotional disturbances. Utilizing various therapeutic modalities, including Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Family Systems, he ensures he can meet the unique needs of each individual and family. Terry’s dedication to helping others is complemented by his experience as a parent to three children, further enriching his understanding of family dynamics and children's issues.
