Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Lafayette, IN, is dedicated to empowering individuals to become advocates for a just and sustainable food system. Through our comprehensive program, we offer an immersive six-month experience that includes hands-on training in organic food systems, community engagement, and educational outreach. Fellows work directly on diversified market-style farms and collaborate with local non-profits to implement innovative health initiatives, manage community gardens, and promote food literacy in schools. We are committed to accessibility, providing this transformative fellowship at no tuition cost. Our Fellows not only gain vital skills but also participate in a Community Action Year, making a tangible impact in their surrounding communities. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the fellowship experience running from May through October.
