MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program in Gary, IN, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion strategies. Our mission is to screen every Veteran at VA facilities for obesity and connect them with tailored weight management services that cater to their individual needs and preferences. We offer a variety of options, including engaging group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, in-home support through TeleMOVE!, and the MOVE! Coach mobile app for those who prefer a self-directed approach. For Veterans requiring more intensive intervention, we also provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery.
