Dr. Anne Lewis is a licensed Counseling Psychologist with a PhD, HSPP, and LCAC, specializing in the treatment and prevention of eating disorders, addictions, and co-morbid conditions, possessing over 17 years of experience. With a compassionate and warm energy, she provides therapy for individuals, couples, and families aged 13 and above, helping clients improve self-esteem, navigate family conflict, reduce shame, and build effective strategies for achieving and maintaining their goals. Dr. Lewis employs a nonjudgmental counseling approach, listening attentively and offering guidance as clients create personalized solutions to their unique treatment needs. Prior to establishing her private practice, she worked at a specialized eating disorder center and facilitated meaningful EDIOP, along with individual and group therapy sessions. With an extensive background in community mental health centers, she has served in multiple roles, training other therapists in both group and individual treatment for a range of issues, including mood disorders and substance use. Dr. Lewis has specialized training in several therapeutic modalities, including Brainspotting, Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, Family-Focused Therapy (FFT), Daring Way, IMAGO, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), harnessing these techniques to make the therapeutic process accessible and supportive.
