MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program in Auburn, IN, dedicates itself to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through a comprehensive weight management and health promotion initiative. Our mission is to provide personalized support by annually screening all Veterans at VA facilities for obesity, ensuring they receive appropriate referrals to a variety of weight management services tailored to their individual needs. We offer a range of care options, including engaging group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which allows for in-home messaging and clinician interaction as required. For those who prefer a more self-directed approach, our MOVE! Coach mobile app is available to assist Veterans in managing their weight independently. Additionally, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who have explored MOVE! but continue facing challenges with overweight or weight-related issues. To become a part of the MOVE! program, Veterans are encouraged to reach out to their local MOVE! Coordinator or VA provider for guidance on initiating their weight loss journey.
