Youth HYPE Housing Program

At the Youth HYPE Housing Program in Wheeling, IL, we believe that everyone deserves a safe and stable place to call home. Our mission is to empower young adults aged 18-24 who are facing housing instability by providing them with the resources and support needed to navigate their unique situations. Through our Walk-In Entry Point Center, we connect individuals with vital resources to prevent homelessness, including limited financial assistance, education on eviction and foreclosure, and money management counseling. Our program not only focuses on immediate housing needs but also emphasizes long-term solutions, offering career coaching to help clients develop job readiness skills. In partnership with local organizations, we also assist residents with SNAP and Medicaid applications and provide access to our food pantry, ensuring that basic needs are met. At Youth HYPE, our compassionate staff prioritize treating everyone with respect and dignity, helping our neighbors turn their crises into opportunities for a brighter future. All our services are offered free of charge to residents in the Northwest Suburbs of Cook County, and we are grateful for any food donations to support our community efforts.
