Youth HYPE Housing Program

At the Youth HYPE Housing Program in Schaumburg, IL, we believe that everyone deserves a safe place to call home. Our mission is to empower young adults aged 18-24 to navigate their housing challenges through comprehensive support and resources. As part of Northwest Compass, we operate a Walk-In Entry Point Center that connects individuals to vital services aimed at preventing homelessness and promoting stable housing. Our dedicated team provides limited financial assistance for homelessness prevention, along with education and advocacy for those facing eviction or foreclosure. We also offer money management counseling, career coaching, and assistance with SNAP and Medicaid applications to ensure our clients can establish sustainable livelihoods. In addition, we host a food pantry available monthly to all residents, providing essential nourishment when needed most. At Northwest Compass, we approach each situation with compassion and respect, turning housing crises into opportunities for positive change in the Northwest Suburbs of Cook County.
