Living with Type 2 Diabetes Program

The Living with Type 2 Diabetes Program in New Lenox, IL, is dedicated to supporting individuals recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes through a comprehensive and accessible 12-month educational journey. Offered at no cost in both English and Spanish, this initiative equips participants with six informative e-booklets tailored to their specific needs, alongside monthly e-newsletters that share seasonal tips and community resources. We also host a monthly 'Ask the Experts' Q&A series where enrollees can directly engage with ADA experts, learn about vital connections like diabetes and heart health, and receive helpful giveaways aimed at promoting better diabetes management. Our mission is to empower every participant with the knowledge and tools necessary to manage their diabetes effectively and improve their quality of life.
