Youth HYPE Housing Program

At the Youth HYPE Housing Program in Elmwood Park, IL, we believe everyone deserves a place to call home. Our dedicated team at Northwest Compass is committed to empowering young adults aged 18-24 to navigate their housing challenges with dignity and support. Through our walk-in entry point center, we connect individuals to essential resources as part of our partnership with The Alliance to End Homelessness in Suburban Cook County. We offer vital services including limited financial assistance for homelessness prevention, education, advocacy, and money management counseling to help residents facing eviction or foreclosure. Our career coaching prepares clients for the job market, enhancing their chances of securing employment. Additionally, we provide access to our food pantry to all local residents and assistance with SNAP and Medicaid applications. Understanding the profound impact of housing instability, we approach each situation with compassion and respect, striving to transform crises into opportunities for a brighter future. All our services are offered free of charge, as we work together to build a supportive community in the Northwest Suburbs of Cook County.
