MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program in Barrington, IL is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion initiatives. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened annually for obesity, with tailored referrals to a variety of weight management services that align with their needs and preferences. We offer an array of supportive options, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which allows for in-home messaging and clinician contact. For those who prefer self-directed weight management, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available, alongside other interventions such as weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who may still face challenges after engaging with the program.
