Veggie Van, located in Valrico, FL, is a mobile marketplace dedicated to providing food assistance to individuals and families in underserved communities across Hillsborough and East Pasco counties. Our mission is to ensure access to fresh, nutritious fruits and vegetables, helping to combat food insecurity in areas such as Wimauma Village, Tampa Heights, Sulphur Springs, Plant City, Dover, TGH Healthpark in Tampa, and Lacoochee. For just $4 a month, participants can select two bags of fresh produce, promoting healthy eating at an affordable price. In response to the ongoing challenges posed by COVID-19, we are currently offering produce bags at no cost, continuing our commitment to support those in need.
