Healthy Start Coalition - Jefferson, Madison, and Taylor

Healthy Start Coalition is dedicated to improving the health and developmental outcomes of mothers and young children in The Villages, FL, by focusing on reducing infant mortality and the incidence of low birth weight. Our program offers vital support services tailored to the needs of pregnant women, infants, and children up to age three, ensuring they receive the care they deserve. We provide comprehensive outreach, care coordination, childbirth education, parenting support, nutrition counseling, psychosocial assistance, tobacco education and cessation programs, breastfeeding education, and home visiting services. All pregnant women, regardless of marital, economic, or immigration status, who are identified as high-risk for poor pregnancy outcomes, including postpartum women and infants up to three years, are encouraged to participate in our program.
