Mindy Agler

Mindy Agler is a dedicated Licensed Therapist who has been practicing since 2001. She has extensive experience working with adults in inpatient drug and alcohol treatment centers, as well as providing essential follow-up recovery support after discharge. Mindy possesses a comprehensive understanding of both addiction and mental health challenges, including depression, Bipolar Disorder, anxiety, codependence, grief, and trauma. Since moving from Palm Beach County to the Florida Keys in 2012, Mindy has established a private practice in Tavernier, where she serves clients committed to recovery from addiction alongside those navigating mental health issues and the life experiences that influence their lives. Mindy works effectively with individuals, families, and groups, harnessing techniques from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) to support her clients in achieving their goals—whether that involves substance use recovery, healing from trauma, enhancing self-care practices, or establishing healthy relationship boundaries. Additionally, she provides valuable education to parents about drug and alcohol prevention for their children. On a national level, Mindy has contributed her expertise by assisting churches and synagogues in developing Recovery Ministries and supporting clergy facing addiction challenges.
