Veggie Van is committed to enhancing the nutrition and wellbeing of individuals and families in underserved areas of Tampa, FL, and the surrounding Hillsborough and East Pasco counties. Our mobile marketplace offers fresh, nutritious fruits and vegetables, making healthy eating accessible for all. For just $4 a month, participants can fill two bags with their choice of fresh produce, allowing for personalized and affordable meal options. Currently serving communities including Wimauma Village, Tampa Heights, Sulphur Springs, Plant City, Dover, TGH Healthpark in Tampa, and Lacoochee, we are dedicated to ensuring that everyone has access to wholesome food. Even amidst the challenges posed by COVID-19, Veggie Van continues to operate without cost for our produce bags, providing essential food assistance to the community.
