Meals on Wheels

In the heart of Tampa, FL, Greater Brandon Meals on Wheels is dedicated to providing nourishing mid-day meals to community members who are unable to prepare food for themselves. Our compassionate volunteers deliver well-balanced meals directly to home-bound neighbors, ensuring they receive the nutrition they need from Monday through Friday. Each meal, thoughtfully prepared by local Brandon churches, includes a delicious entrée, a vegetable, a starch, a salad, and a dessert, catering to the basic nutritional needs of our clients. Eligibility for our meal delivery service is open to anyone unable to cook at home, whether due to a temporary condition or a long-term situation. Clients are referred by various organizations, churches, or even friends and family, and we conduct home screenings to verify needs. While there is a suggested donation to help support the cost of these essential services, our primary focus remains on delivering care and sustenance to those in need.
