Celina Demeo

Celina Demeo is a compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and Board-Certified Dance/Movement Therapist who understands the challenges individuals face in overcoming both minor stress and major life obstacles. In her therapeutic practice, she creates a safe, nonjudgmental environment where clients can explore their past experiences and recognize their impact on the present. Celina is committed to helping individuals gain a clearer understanding of their inner selves, empowering them to change, accept, or manage the challenges they encounter. With her integrative mind/body approach, she specializes in anxiety, trauma and PTSD, family of origin issues, relationship stress, body image concerns, burnout, and complex trauma. Celina is also trained in EMDR and employs a variety of therapy modalities, including Compassion-Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Trauma-Focused Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy, tailored to the unique needs of each client. As she guides her clients on their journeys, Celina recognizes that taking the first step can often be the hardest. She is dedicated to helping them determine their next best steps and offers supervision for Dance/Movement Therapists in training.
