Pascale Denis

Pascale Denis is a compassionate counselor with an MSEd and is a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) specializing in various therapeutic modalities including mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT), psychodynamic therapy, and multicultural approaches. With a focus on young adults and adults facing emotional challenges, she diligently fosters a safe and empathetic therapeutic environment conducive to personal growth. Her training as a psychoanalytic psychotherapist and board-certified psychiatrist in Haiti enriches her practice and enhances her ability to connect culturally with diverse clients. Pascale is dedicated to addressing the complexities surrounding gender, sexual, and affectional orientations, as well as the acculturation challenges faced by first and second generation immigrants. She collaborates with transracial adoptive families, ensuring a balanced space where both similarities and differences are explored to foster meaning and understanding. Furthermore, she provides specialized support for cancer patients and their families, offering a nurturing environment to navigate their needs and redefine priorities. Pascale also leads a free monthly support group, conducted in Creole, aimed at assisting Haitians impacted by cancer, embodying her commitment to community well-being.
