Rev. Nick Smith is a seasoned psychotherapist and the Founder and Director of New Hope Counseling Center, with a rich practice in the Space Coast since 1990. He earned his Master of Arts in Counseling from Rollins College and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Religion from Mount Vernon Nazarene University. As a Certified LMHC Supervisor, Nick is a proud charter member of the American Association of Christian Counselors. His expertise encompasses child and adolescent ADHD, trauma, grief, loss, divorce, and a range of learning and behavioral issues. Nick also specializes in marriage and pre-marriage counseling, blended families, and parent training and coaching. He is equipped with advanced training in Crisis Intervention Stress Management (CISM) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Beyond his professional endeavors, Nick is an Ironman Triathlete, an Ordained Minister, and a Boston Marathoner, showcasing his commitment to excellence in all areas of life. He has been married to his high school sweetheart, Linda Smith, MA, RN, LMHC, since 1980, and is thrilled that their oldest daughter, Jennifer, has joined the New Hope Team as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor.
