Nina Caricato

Nina Caricato is a highly dedicated and committed Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) known for her exceptional rapport-building skills, which she has developed through her diverse experiences as a therapist, teacher, and learner of life. With a deep understanding of the therapeutic relationship's significance in achieving personal goals, Nina began her career as a middle school teacher in New York City. There, she became acutely aware of the numerous obstacles her students faced daily, which fueled her passion for prioritizing their emotional and psychological needs. She specializes in working with teens, adults, and seniors, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, sexual trauma, mood disorders, and grief and loss. Nina employs an integrative approach that draws from evidence-based practices, including cognitive-based therapies, trauma-informed methods, Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and mindfulness interventions. Guided by each client’s unique strengths and goals, she believes that a strong therapeutic connection is one of the most important predictors of positive therapy outcomes.
