Abby Glisson is a dedicated Registered Clinical Social Work Intern with a true passion for supporting children and adolescents in their mental health journeys. She also brings valuable experience in working with adults facing various emotional needs and overcoming their past challenges. Abby is committed to helping individuals navigate towards a life filled with purpose and fulfillment. With a focus on creating an environment of compassion and empathy, she enables her clients to feel safe in expressing their challenges and authentically being themselves. Recognizing the importance of connection and trust, Abby fosters open dialogue about personal journeys and aspirations. Her therapeutic approach encompasses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). These evidence-based practices enhance emotional flexibility and cultivate healthy coping strategies to manage life's difficulties. Abby remains actively engaged in the therapeutic process, monitoring client progress and involving families when necessary.
