Veggie Van is dedicated to improving access to fresh, nutritious food for individuals and families in underserved areas of Riverview, FL, and surrounding communities. Serving Hillsborough and East Pasco counties, our mobile market provides a vital resource, offering an affordable opportunity to select fresh fruits and vegetables. For just $4 a month, participants can receive two bags of seasonal produce, promoting health and well-being. Currently, we serve diverse neighborhoods, including Wimauma Village, Tampa Heights, and Plant City, ensuring that residents can access quality food options. Even during challenging times, including the ongoing effects of COVID-19, we remain committed to our mission and have temporarily lifted fees for produce bags, ensuring everyone can nourish their families.
