Healthy Start Coalition in Port Saint Lucie, FL, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of pregnant women, infants, and young children in our community. Our mission is to reduce infant mortality rates and the prevalence of low birth weight babies while fostering improved health and developmental outcomes. We offer a comprehensive range of targeted support services, including outreach, care coordination for access to essential services, childbirth and parenting education, nutrition counseling, psychosocial support, tobacco education and cessation, breastfeeding support, and home visiting programs. We welcome all pregnant women, irrespective of marital, economic, or immigration status, who are identified as high-risk for poor pregnancy outcomes, including postpartum women with infants up to three years of age.
