Dr. Louis Damis is a distinguished Diplomate with the American Board of Professional Psychology and a Fellow of both the American Academy of Clinical Health Psychology and the Biofeedback Certification International Alliance. He possesses ASCH Certification in Clinical Hypnosis with Consultant Status. In 2003, he founded Integrative Health Psychology, PA, to improve the coordinated psychological and medical care of individuals facing persistent physical and emotional challenges. Dr. Damis is actively involved in the field, teaching hypnosis at national conferences and conducting research on trauma, chronic pain, neuropsychological functioning in medically ill individuals, aging, and the psychotherapy process. His areas of specialization include the integration of mind-body, interpersonal, and experiential therapies, which he utilizes to foster physical, emotional, and relational wellness.
