Project SAFE

Project SAFE in Miami Beach, FL, is committed to enhancing the understanding of LGBTQ issues within homelessness and social service agencies throughout Miami-Dade County. By offering cultural competency trainings and vital technical assistance, we strive to create a more inclusive environment for all individuals. Our services include access to safe and supportive shelter through partnerships and our innovative HOST HOME PROGRAM, along with holistic care coordination tailored to the unique needs of each young person. We provide essential referral services for HIV testing, substance abuse support, and medical care, as well as educational assistance and transportation support. Project SAFE also offers emergency meal assistance, family support as needed, access to laundry facilities, and warm showers, ensuring that youth receive the comprehensive care they deserve.
